Tips & FAQ

Preparing For Your Trip

  1. Make sure you approve your estimate and complete the transport contract. Make sure to communicate any special needs/requests or additional equipment at this time.
  2. Schedule your vet appointment! All equines are required to have current, negative, Coggins test as well as a current (30 days) Health Certificate.
  3. Make sure to contact and schedule Brand Inspection appointment if applicable in your state.
  4. Please do not make any sudden changes to your horses diet prior to transport. This can add additional stress and can cause digestive issues during transport. We do our very best to keep them on their regular diet and schedule to keep them healthy and happy during transport.
  5. Please pre-bag and label any additional supplements, grain, or medication to be given during transport.
  6. Please make sure your horse has a web style, or leather, halter with detachable lead rope.

What to Expect

  1. Newer, reliable equipment is meticulously maintained and serviced regularly. Truck and trailer are regularly inspected per DOT standards.
  2. Hay and fresh water available at all times, on and off the trailer. Water buckets are cleaned and refreshed throughout the day. Salt is also available on the trailer as well to encourage hydration.
  3. Trailer is cleaned and freshly bedded each day before travel. Trailer is washed and sanitized between routes and wiped down between each horse.
  4. We have Hi-Def cameras in the trailer to keep an eye on our equines during transport.
  5. We offer both comfy box stalls or spacious straight loads. Our trailer is extra tall and allows us to accommodate the biggest horses, including drafts!
  6. Trailer is fully insulated and very quiet. Our box stalls our big enough to accommodate mare/foal pairs adequately with room for baby to lay down and rest.
  7. Regular updates, including pictures and/or videos of your horse on and off the trailer.
  8. We treat each and every equine with tender loving care, patience, and compassion. They are our “babies” while we have them and they are treated as such.
